Hillary Clinton visits Turkey for talks on Syria

11th August 2012 02:50 PM

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is in Turkey for talks with Turkish officials as well as Syrian opposition figures on how to undermine the Syrian regime and lay the groundwork for a democratic transition.

Clinton also plans to meet Syrian refugees in Istanbul during her visit Saturday as the U.S. and allies boost humanitarian relief for civilians who have fled the civil war in Syria. At least 51,000 Syrians are sheltering in neighboring Turkey, and many more have sought refuge in Jordan and Lebanon.

Clinton's Istanbul agenda includes talks with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Abdullah Gul and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. Turkey is a fierce critic of Syrian President Bashar Assad, and hosts Syrian activists working to overthrow him.

Mrs Clinton is trying to push my country into a war which is not ours...it is theirs for their gains in the region.!! The monster Bush has started a vile plan for the very sensitive area, just because the real intention is to establish many small countries among which Kurdistan must be created for the American interest.!! Americans don`t give a damn about the Syrian refugees..all their interest is to establish their own plans and create servants for the U,s.a...!! next in the line is Turkiye,my home country....!! They are already using the PKK against our interests in the region for a decade or two,and our nation is bleeding by losing her soldiers practically everyday. And the Americans are training them knowingly...albeit being an ally at the same time...supposedly !! No they have been playing a very deadly game in the region with the help of the despicable so called Turkish Prime MInister Tayyip Erdogan. Tayyip ERDOGAN is the most devious puppet in our government. He should go!
