17 Taliban militants killed in Afghanistan

As many as 17 Taliban militants have been killed during a series of security operations launched since Friday in Afghanistan, the government said Saturday.
According to
the country's interior ministry, four militants were also arrested in the operations, carried out in the provinces of Nangarhar, Laghman, Kandahar and Logar, Xinhua reported.
