Ghosts haunt SL army’s Tamil recruits?

14th December 2012 07:42 AM

The Sri Lankan army’s much-trumpeted bid to recruit Tamil girls with a view to giving the force an acceptable look in the Tamil-speaking Northern Province, has hit a rough patch, with many of the 103 girls reportedly wanting to quit.

Fourteen of the girls undergoing training at the Krishnapuram camp near Kilinochchi were admitted to the Kilinochchi army hospital recently with various complaints, including a feeling of being “possessed by an evil spirit”, according to Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP S Sritharan. Further, the fact that parents were not allowed to visit the recruits at the camp when they wanted, had triggered suspicions about the nature of the training.

The controversy seems to be due to a misunderstanding about the nature and purpose of the recruitment and training. While consenting to the recruitment, the girls were under the impression that the training was for clerical cadre. Some even thought that they were going to be absorbed in the local civil administration! The salary promised was an attractive LKR 30,000 per month.  However, once in, they discovered that it was army training, albeit rudimentary. They feared that they were going to be made combatants.

More Tamils should get Training by Singala Army. Take the Training and then use the Arms against the Singalas especially the Rajapakse Criminal Brothers

The girls appear in yellow Chinese sarees in the Lankan Defence Ministry website. One in five recruits was taken to hospital in a very very distressed state. Lankan army medical personnel have moved into the hospital to treat them. Parents are not allowed visits. In May 2009, the girls have suffered the sights of fellow humans blown to pieces and are not afraid of evil spirits . The ghost of Josef Mengele (the Nazi doctor who performed inhuman experiments on camp inmates) was at work with girls rounded up in May 2009. Is he continuing the experiments?

Everything looks fishy. Why not induct Sinhala girls for an expriment, if there were any? The recruits are under the impression that they were being recruited for clerical jobs whereas they appear to have misgivings about the govt. intentions. Why this mystery? Come out with the tuth. Don't gloat over getting tamils as cannon fodder. Enough is enough as far as human killing is concerned.Don't forget the TAMIL SWEAT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CEYLON! Now, treat them free and equal-an atonement for the commision of untold sins. why recruitme
