Flour, tomatoes and eggs flew across a Berlin bridge on Sunday for the traditional "Gemüseschlacht", or "Vegetable fight". Once a year, residents of the trendy neighbourhoods of Friedrishain and Kreuzberg meet in a massive, messy food and water fight.
