Maoist-hit Purulia: Violence curtailing developement
Poverty-stricken villagers in Maoist-hit Purulia district of West Bengal have complained of irregular electricity supply and urged the state government to provide solar lamps especially for children as they are not able to study due to unavailability of electricity. Citing their woes locals said that the earlier generations also spent their lives in darkness and it affected the children to a large extent.
