During the holy month of Ramadan, shopkeepers in Aurangabad are witnessing surge in sales of scents, as Muslims use it prior to offering their prayers before Iftar (fast-breaking). Maulana Ikbal Ansari, a local, said that using attar in the holy month of Ramadan creates a peaceful atmosphere during prayer hours.
