Independence Day: PM on Assam violence
Addressing the nation from the red fort on India's 65th Independence Day, PM Manmohan Singh today promised developmental schemes in Naxal affected areas. Saying the ethnic violence in Assam as "very unfortunate", Singh promised to make every effort to find out reasons behind the clashes.
