Rice wine delicacies to savour

Inspired by Iti, the goddess of wine, The Hilton New Delhi, Janakpuri, presents the ‘Iti Food Festival’, comprising authentic Chinese cuisine, especially prepared with the use of rice wines. With a long list of delicacies on offer, the kitchen at Chynna Gold seems busier than ever. ‘‘On offer will be dishes with a blend of traditional flavours, herbs and spices and of course the rice wine, giving them a wholesome taste. The result will exceeds all expectations,’’ says Master chef Baiyan Zhou.
Usually used to tenderise meat and seafood in marinades, rice wines have been generously used and experimented with by chef Zhou. “We believe a fine-dining restaurant should offer not just good cuisine but an experience for all the senses. Iti Food Festival at Chynna Gold aims to become an exclusive gastronomic experience through the authenticity of the dishes offered,” says general manager Rubal Chaudhry.
Available for lunch and dinner daily, the festival offers dishes like Sliced Chicken with Dry Chili and Coriander, Salt and Pepper Vegetable, Chicken with Chili Onion Soy Sauce, Steamed Fish with Black Pepper Sauce, Mixed Vegetable with Sichuan Sauce, Paneer with Hot Garlic Sauce, Sliced Chicken in Yu Xiang Sauce, Steamed Garlic Flavor Chicken, Mixed Vegetable in Manchowrian Sauce, Paneer with Chili Black Pepper Sauce, Mushroom and Tofu Coriander Soup, and a lot more.
