Two miscreants looted Rs 3 lakh from an employee of a Jharsuguda-based businessman at gun-point on Saturday evening near Krushak Market of Sundargarh town.
Sundargarh SDPO SK Mishra said the grocery wholesaler Bibek Saurogi accompanied by his accountant Suresh Modi had come for weekly collection from retailers at Sundargarh town. Sauragi was waiting near his car and Modi, after collecting money from a shop, had just come out when one of the miscreants caught hold of him.
He terrorised Modi at gun-point and snatched the bag containing Rs 3 lakh before fleeing with his associate who was waiting nearby with a two-wheeler. The SDPO said efforts are underway to nab the miscreants.
