Case lodged against SCERT director

An FIR was lodged against the Director of State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) for alleged violation of the Persons With Disability Act 1995. Mukti Ranjan Mohapatra of Odisha Unemployed Association of the Deaf registered the complaint stating that Director Narayan Jena was responsible for the slash in the eligibility criteria for admission in CT and B.Ed courses. The SCERT is an autonomous body under School and Mass Education Department.
