Explosives, including gelatin sticks, wires and tiffin bombs besides Maoist literature, uniforms and medicines were seized from a Maoist camp in Narayanpatna here on Thursday.
Close on the heels of crackdown on the Maoist camp at Mohana, security forces raided a similar camp in Samana and Pindamal forest under Narayanpatna range and made the seizures. Police said as many as 25 ultras managed to flee from the camp before the security forces reached the spot.
On a tip off, BSF and Special Operation Group of the State Police started combing the Samana and Pindamal forest where training camp was being operated by the Koraput-Srikakulam divisional committee.
The joint operation would continue in the Koraput area, a senior police officer said.
In a major success in the anti-Maoist drive, security forces on Wednesday gunned down five Maoists in an exchange of fire at Gajapati-Ganjam-Kandhamal tri-junction of Odisha.
