ABVP activist succumbs to stab injuries

ABVP activist Sachin Gopal, 21, who was stabbed by a group of people in front of the Pallikkunnu Higher Secondary School a few weeks ago, succumbed to his injuries at the KMC Hospital, Mangalore, on Wednesday according to information available here.
Sachin Gopal was the Kannur Nagara Samithi member of the ABVP.
He was stabbed by an alleged group of Campus Front activists as he was standing near the Pallikkunnu Higher Secondary School on July 6.
He was there in connection with the membership work of the ABVP.
He had been undergoing medical treatment at the Mangalore hospital for the past several weeks.
The ABVP and the BJP had organised a series of agitations demanding the arrest of the culprits involved in the attack.
The police had arrested two persons in connection with the attack following the agitation.
