The Kerala High Court on Wednesday directed Calicut University to file an affidavit on the delay in conducting exams and publishing results.
A Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice A M Shaffique issued the directive while considering a petition filed by Venu Kakkattil of Vatakara challenging the delay in conducting university exams. “Several students are suffering owing to the callous attitude of the university and many students are not in a position to get admission in other universities,” petitioner.
The petitioner pointed out that there were several instances of loss off answer-sheets and wrong issuance of hall tickets.
