The number of pilgrims coming for the darshan of Lord Ayyappa using the virtual queue system is on the rise over the past three days.
However, the darshan timings and the arrival time of the pilgrims at the Sannidhanam are causing problems for other pilgrims and the police personnel on duty. At Nadapandal, a heavy crowd of pilgrims is the usual scene and creating issues for pilgrims who are on their return journey after darshan. The long queue of pilgrims who use the virtual queue system extended up to Forest IB.

Though a separate exit route was built during last season by erecting a bailey bridge of the Army, pilgrims are not using it owing to strenuous steps on both sides. However, with the more flow of pilgrims, Devaswom authorities, with the help of police, could make use of it as a one-way to reduce the crowded Valiyanadapandal.
