Thousands witness ‘Rathasangamom’ at Kalpathy

The ‘rathasangamom’, congregation of chariots, which was held at Kalpathy on Thursday
The Kalpathy chariot festival witnessed the grand finale on Thursday evening with thousands of people participating in the ‘rathasangamom.
All the chariots which were being pulled through the streets of Kalpathy agraharam assembled before the Visalakshi Samedha Sree Viswanatha Swamy temple at Kalpathy in the evening for the ‘rathasangamom’.
The six cars of the Visalakshi Samedha Sree Viswanatha Swamy temple: Manthakara Mahaganapthy, Ganpathy, Subramanyan, Lakshmi Narayana Perumal temple of Old Kalpathy and Prasanna Mahaganapathy of Chathapuram congregated at Therumutti, before the Sree Viswanatha Swamy templ The deities of Lakshmi Narayana Perumal temple of Old Kalpathy and Mahaganapathy temple of Chathapuram mounted on the ‘rathams’ and began their journey on Thursday Curtains will fall on the three-day festival on Friday morning.
