CBSE youth fest from today

The CBSE state youth festival, ‘Sangamam- 2012’, will begin at Choondacherry near Pala on Sunday. Over 7,000 students from Sahodaya schools in the state will participate in the festival. The students who secured the first and second places in the district-level youth festivals will be competing in the events that will be conducted on 19 stages at Sanjos Public School, Choondacherry.
Cultural Affairs Minister K C Joseph will inaugurate the fest at a function to be held at 11 am on Sunday. The inaugural function will begin with the blessings of Pala Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangatt.
