A meeting in memory of the late Bhagavatha Vachaspathy Thottam Krishnan Nampoothiry will be held at the Narayanalayam on the northern side of the Sree Krishna temple here on October 17.
The prizes to the winners of the Narayaneeyam recitation contests organised by the Thottam Krishnan Nampoothiry Memorial Foundation will be distributed at the function which is scheduled to begin at 3 pm.
Preparatory to the commemoration function, Narayaneeyam will be recited at the discourse Hall of the Sree Krishna temple from 7.15 am to 1 pm.
Narayanalayam chief Anjam Madhusoodanan Nampoothiry, Thottam Shyam Nampoothiry, senior journalist Uthama Kurup, Guruvayur Devaswom’s former chairman P T Mohanakrishnan, Thrissur Thiruvambady temple committee president Madhavan Kutty, Kalady Sanskrit University’s former Dean P C Muraleemadhavan, Sree Guruvayurappan Sankeerthana Trust president G K Gopalakrishnan, Kizhiyedam Raman Nampoothiry, Chowalloor Krishnankutty, Acharya C P Nair, Guruvayur Achuthankutty and Thottam Neelakantan Nampoothiry are among those who are scheduled to speak at the commemoration meeting on the life and mission of Thottam Krishnan Nampoothiry.
