Ramdas should resign: MLA

BJP MLA Dr Saarvabouma Bagali demanded the resignation of Medical Education Minister S A Ramdas. “Sale of generic drugs through Karnataka Cooperative Consumer Federation outlets is a major scam and the minister must resign,” he said. Bagali, a former senior official of state Health Department said, “All officials, including Chief Secretary, Medical Education Department Secretary and others who are responsible for such a scam should be sent to Bangalore Central jail.” Since Ramdas was not present in the House, Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa said that the concerned minister will reply on Tuesday.
