The district reported another dengue death on Saturday, that of Mahalakshmi (13)daughter of Venkataswamy of Thimmapura village of Bangarpet taluk in Kolar district.
Sources said that she was suffering from fever for the past two days and was admitted in R L Jalappa Hospital, but did not respond to treatment and died on Saturday. Villagers of Thimmapura accused the taluk administration as drains were overflowing in many areas. Although three deaths have been reported in Bangarpet taluk, no steps were taken to combat the disease,” they said.
