The Central Bureau of Investigation is likely to file chargesheet in the Vanpic project case on August 14.
Top sources told Express that CBI was finalising the chargesheet against project promoter and Matrix founder Nimmagadda Prasad, who is currently lodged in the Chanchalguda central prison.
Besides Prasad, IRAS officer KV Brahmananda Reddy, former excise minister Mopidevi Venkataramana and some others are also to be named in the chargesheet. Officials are tightlipped over whether the chargesheet will also be filed against IAS officer Manmohan Singh.
