Gold worth Rs 50 lakh seized, seven held

Police achieved a breakthrough in the sensational gold dacoity case when on Monday, they arrested the seven-member gang which was involved in the crime. A total of 1.75 kg gold worth around Rs 50 lakh and a Scorpio was seized.
Disclosing details to mediapersons, here SP Shanawaz Quasim police took up this challenging investigation and were able to nab the culprits within 10 days after the dacoity on the night of July 20. z
