Palvai gets summons from Rahul

AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi seems to be  busy with “mission 2014 Andhra Pradesh”.  Rahul, who shouldered the responsibility of getting the state Congress back on rails in the aftermath of the party’s electoral drubbing, has intensified his efforts to strengthen the party in the state. Rahul has been holding talks with the senior leaders in the state Congress to know the ground realities for the dismal performance of the party in the bypolls.

The latest leader, who would meet the AICC general secretary, is Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy. Govardhan Reddy received a phone call from the office of Rahul Gandhi asking him to meet Rahul  on Wednesday, Confirming the news, Govardhan Reddy said he would leave for Delhi and apprise Rahul Gandhi of the party situation in the state.

Rahul Gandhi so far held confabulations with MPs including V Hanumantha Rao, KVP Ramachandra Rao, Madhu Yashki Goud and MLC Paladugu Venkata Rao.
