Along with famous Pochampalli sarees, Uppada variety sarees also need to be promoted. However the prices of Uppada sarees are a bit on the higher side and need to be brought down. Rail connectivity to Vemulwada and Srisailam also need to be expedited on fast track basis for substantial tourists interests; this would also generate substantial employment opportunities in various ways for the local talented skilled youths. Famous handloom weavers in Sircilla village near Vemulwada have also been languishing for a few years for want of sufficient orders, incentives etc. Their handloom sarees, products also need urgent tourism dept's support. Tourists visiting Vemulwada famous Shiva temple, could be taken to Sircilla village also. More buses from Vemulwada to Hyderabad also badly needed. Buses dont ply for a few hours during night time while on the way to Srisailam temple; this bottleneck needs to be removed soonest possible.
