TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday predicted early polls to Parliament and Assembly and directed the leaders and cadre to get ready to face them. The TDP chief opined that the coming elections would decide the future course of the party.
He addressed the TDP politburo meeting held at Puttapahad village in Kulakcherla mandal of Rangareddy district.
He discussed the political situation in the state and the failures of chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy government. Party sources said available politburo members attended meeting.
The Congress leadership at the national level had intensified election preparatory activity and had cautioned all its state units in the country, Naidu reportedly said.
Quoting sources, he said the Congress wants to hold early elections to Parliament in 2013 April or December. TDP leaders and cadres should be ready to face early polls, Naidu said.
Despite YSRCP and TRS’s intensified poaching activity, the TDP did not lose its support among the people anywhere in the state. The public response to his ongoing padayatra proved this, he said. However, he admitted that the coming elections would decide the future of the party.
Briefing mediapersons, party leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao Naidu would soon release a Tribal declaration.
