Mukul Yadav upsets top seed in Delhi squash

Mukul Yadav of Dhampur Squash Academy, Uttar Pradesh, upset top seed Akhil Yadav of Jindal Sports Academy, Mumbai, 3-1 as the Coca Cola Squash Open Championship kicked off Tuesday here at Kendriya Vidyalaya Squash Courts.
In the men's under-23 category, introduced for the first time, second seed Rishi Jalan of Cornell University thrashed Shashwat Anand. Rishi, who was chosen among the top 25 athletes of Cornell University, won the match with ease.
In another boys under-19 match, Siddharth Choudhry ousted Kendriya Vidyalaya's number one player Shaurya Sharma 3-0.
The 105th tournament organised by Indian Squash Professionals will witness players from all over the country to compete with each other for a prize money of Rs.3.25 lakh. More than 350 players have enrolled for this tournament.
