G Karthick Shanmugam 5 for 7 (including hat-trick) enabled Don Bosco ‘A’ Egmore to beat Pon Vidyashram by 52 runs in a TNCA–City Schools Under-14 tournament for B Somasundaram Trophy at St Bede’s grounds. In another match Nikesh Raj hit a brilliant unbeaten half century to help St. Patrick’s overcome DAV Boys Sr Sec School.

Snooker tourney
The top sixteen women cueists in the country will seen in action in the SVS-All India Invitation Ladies Snooker Tournament to be played at SVS Club from December 16 to 19.
The tournament will be played under league cum knock-out basis. It will a league format upto quarterfinals which will be best of 3 frames. The semifinals and final will be on best of 5 frames. The tournament is sponsored by Artisticks Art Forum pvt ltd.
