  • Q: Dear sir, I have read your answers to the questions related to Mr. Advani and Mr. Modi. Why are you so partial to Mr. Modi and so favour to Mr. Advani while you are answering the questions?
A: I have no agenda to follow. I state what I feel. Please read my column on both of them Visit www,newindianexpress.com and access my columns. I believe Modi should not forget those who made him what he is today. He should be magnanimous and build a team around him.

  • Q: Don't you think the federal front minus BJP and Congress will add more confusion and result in hung parliament if the federal front materialises.
A: Federal front will dictate the choice of the prime Minister. As all of us know none of the national parties will ever be able to win an absolute majority on its own. Both will have to go other allies for support.

  • Q: Modi's plan to create a huge statue of Sardar Patel is a brilliant idea and I am sure only someone with a vision can think of such a plan. Do you think this will resonate well with the masses?
A: Of course, he has killed many birds with one stone. Modi will mobilize his cadres in all the villages. Sardar Patel will become a subject of discussion even in South and east and above all Modi will unite the nation in the name of Patel to get over his image of a divisive politician.

  • Q: The panchatanthra story about four Bulls and a lion teaches us the moral - united we stand divide we fall! In fighting with ego and jealousy led the invaders enter our country. Why don't we learn a lesson from the past?
A: You have a point. Divided they fall is the usual saying. But now they fall even when they are united by greed and ambition.

  • Q: Our PM had also promised Lokpal bill to the nation, why should he not be getting that too, by an ordinance?
A: Ordinace is brought only when the government is sure of getting it passed in the Parlaiment. The Congress is not sure of t in case of both Food Bill and Lok Pal bill. The kind of Bill they have prepared is not acceptable to others including some of their own allies.
