Mumbai: Woman found dead in NCP MLA's room, police suspect suicide

A 27-year-old woman was found dead in an NCP MLA's hostel room at Aamdar Niwas - the official MLA quarters in Mumbai. The MLA in question is Babanrao Shinde.
The victim has been identified as the niece of Shinde's Personal Assistant. She was in the city looking for a job. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and are suspecting suicide.
"A case of unnatural death has been registered. Her aunt said that her father also committed suicide. Her brother is saying that she was unemployed and suffering from depression," Mumbai ACP Krishna Prakash said.
