Five policemen were injured today after they were hit by a speeding car in suburban Powai, police said.
The mishap took place around 4 AM when the cops were investigating another accident case, and the SUV rammed into them, they said.
The car driver has been detained whereas the injured policemen were rushed to nearby Rajawadi Hospital, police said.
Police are now verifying whether the person behind the wheels was under the influence of alcohol or not.
