Female lawyer found dead in Mumbai, live-in partner detained

A female lawyer was found dead in the Wadala area of Mumbai on Thursday. A police officer said that the woman's throat was slit and that the neighbours informed the police.
The police have taken her live-in partner into custody and he is being questioned. He is also said to be from the legal fraternity.
The woman's father is said to be a Delhi-based IAS officer.
