No change in interest rates: RBI
With little room to manoeuvre and in line with expectations, the Reserve Bank of India once again refused to tinker with interest rates. The Central Bank kept its policy repo rate at 8 percent and left the cash reserve ratio for banks at 4.75 percent. CRR is the share of deposits banks must keep with the RBI.
