Government willing to consider grievances of AI pilots: Ajit Singh

With an end in sight to Air India pilots' strike, Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh today said Government is willing to consider their grievances and committed to reviving the airline to its past glory.

"Government is committed to the welfare of the employees of Air India including pilots and at the same time revive Air India to the past glory to make it the best airlines," the Minister, who is abroad, said in a statement.

"The High Court direction on the strike has endorsed the views of the Government that the pilots should call off the strike unconditionally and report back to duty," Singh said.

He also said the Government was "always willing to consider the grievances of the pilots including reinstatement of the pilots of Air India whose services have been terminated.
