Tribal woman gang-raped by four in MP village

A tribal woman was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by four men in Barodia village in the district, police said today.
The accused abducted the 30-year-old woman at around 11 PM yesterday when she was sleeping with her husband, who works as a watchman, they said.
The four men -- identified as Govind Bagri, Suresh Bagri, Lakhan and Suresh -- allegedly raped her at gunpoint in a field in the village.
Based on the woman's complaint, the four have been booked for the offence of rape and under relevant sections of the SC/ST Act, police said.
A search was on to nab the culprits, they added.
