BJP workers today staged a
protest against Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam for his reported
derogatory remarks against TV actor and BJP member Smriti
Irani.
Activists of BJP's youth and women's wings took out a
morcha and demanded an apology from Nirupam for his remarks
against Irani, who is also a Member of Parliament.
Around 300 BJP cadres participated in the procession
which concluded at Nirupam's office in suburban Borivili.
Nirupam made an irresponsible statement at a time when
crimes against women are rising and there is anger among
people, a BJP functionary said.
He made the controversial remarks yesterday during a
debate on a news channel on the Gujarat Assembly election
results. The Congress MP questioned the credentials of Irani
to analyse poll results given her background as a TV actress.
He reportedly said "till some time ago you were
dancing on the TV screens and now you have become a
psephologist."

He incautiously exposed his bemired mental attitude towards women through his precocious remark about Ms. Irani. When the nation is agitated over the issue of violence and insult towards women, Mr. Nirupam's derogatory remark about a woman is highly deplorable; him being an MP makes is even more ghastly! Instead of accepting his mistake, it is hopelessly pathetic to see him justify his attitude online in so many empty words. Do the chauvinistic remark made by the Congress MP make him eligible to be considered a MCP?!

I strongly condemn the obnoxious comments of turn-coat Sanjay Nirupam! Smriti Irani is one of the best and most intelligent MPs of the BJP! This useless Nirupam is no match for her! It is his inferiority complex which is making him pass such caustic and cheap remarks against her.

According to Vipin and Sanjay Nirupam, actresses are not supposed to enter politics. This attitude is the foundation for all the ill-treatment meted out to women including the latest one at Delhi. Who the hell are these guys to set standards for women? This turn coat Nirupam was running behind the Thakerays a few years ago. Having found the business in Shiv Sena very thanda, he has changed the horse. What credentials has he to judge Hemamalini and Irani? Vipin and Nirupam are still living in the age of Draupadi and Sita. It clearly shows the way these male chauvinist animals were brought up.

nobody can comment on the personal life of a man or woman, as long as he, or she, does not loot the nation - like the congresswallahs. Nirupam is a turncoat - what can be expected from such people

Nirupam conveniently forgot where his boss was working before marrying into the dynasty.
