Maoists killed a 26-year-old villager
in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on suspicion that he was a
police informer, an official said Thursday.
Maniram Baghel, a resident of Kumharras village under
Kukanar police station area, was murdered by Naxalites last
night, Sukma Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shandilya told
PTI over phone.
Around a dozen armed rebels took Baghel out of his
house and slit his throat with a sharp-edged weapon, he said,
adding the body was dumped on Jagdalpur-Sukma Highway, around
400km away from capital Raipur.
