Rahul Gandhi to visit Jharkhand

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will interact with Panchayat members and party leaders during a two day trip to Jharkhand Sep 25-26, party sources said Saturday.
Gandhi is expected to be briefed on the devolution of powers to the Panchayats. The panchayat polls were held in the state two years ago after a gap of over 30 years.
He will meet former and sitting legislators of the Congress besides MPs from Jharkhand in order to galvanise the party in the state.
