A still from the film Uyir Mozhi
Rajaa, director of the upcoming flick Uyir Mozhi, seems to have impressed some K-town directors way ahead of the release of his movie.
Speaking at the launch of the movie’s soundtrack, director Prabu Solomon said the audiences were eager to watch films that dealt with fresh concepts, even as the directors feared experimenting. He asked Rajaa to not worry about the success of the film, which is said to deal with the classification of humans under five categories.
Director Gaurav, who made Thoonganagaram, said he began thinking which human category he would belong to, after watching the trailer. “After watching the film, I’m sure the audience would do the same,” he said.
Director Suresh of Etthan fame admitted that he had come across human classifications for the first time in the movie and appreciated Rajaa for his research.
The film is said to centre on a girl who deals with men of different natures. Songs have been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
