A day before the release of Ajith’s much-awaited Billa II, actress Parvathy Omanakuttan, who plays the love interest of Ajith, admits that she’s not kidding when she says she’s nervous. “I’m very nervous,” says the former Miss World, as she tries her best to not break into a nervous giggle.
Confident that the audience down south will respond well to her debut Tamil film, Parvathy says, “I play the character of a girl next door. I’m sure everyone will be able to easily relate with it.”
The young actress, who transitioned into acting from modeling with the Bollywood flick United Six, also gets candid about the much talked-about Billa II calender, some of which’s shooting scenes have been making its rounds on the Internet. Each location featured in the calendar which has Parvathy and her co-star Bruna Abdullah, might look like a different exotic country, but Parvathy springs a surprise.
“The entire shoot was done only in Goa and nowhere else. The locations were chosen in such a way that looked they were from different places,” she reveals, looking proud of her killer poses for the calendar.
And putting all rumours to rest, Parvathy divulges, “I haven’t signed any other films yet.”
