Actress Harshika Poonacha is on a roll with her latest film, 'Thamassu' being declared a hit at the box office. The 19-year-old says she has no time for love right now. Her ideal man, she says, should be someone who is simple and down-to-earth.
“I hate guys who show off,” she adds quickly.
The actress believes in arranged marriages and would want her dad to choose the man for her. “I’m looking for someone who can play hockey well. He should be from Coorg,” says Poonacha, who is doing her Engineering from Cambridge College.
Talking about crushes, she says, “There was this guy in my school who proposed to me. It’s been years now but he still sends me a gift on my birthday.
I’m hopeful of meeting him someday.”
Poonacha takes a two-month break from her shooting assignments to attend her classes, complete assignments and prepare for exams. “I love hanging out with my college friends. It’s fun!” she says.
Her dream date? “How about a romantic dinner on the beach?" she asks.
