Actor Sean Bean, who is known for playing
tough guy roles, stepped out in full drag to get into character as a
transvestite in a new drama.
The actor will show off his feminine side for new BBC drama
"Accused", about a man going through a sex change.
To prepare for his character, Bean practised walking in stilettos in his
kitchen - before going out in women's clothes with his daughter, reports
dailystar.co.uk.
"(I got into character) by walking round in high heels in the kitchen at
home... and one night I went out ... arm-in-arm with my middle daughter,"
he said.
"I wanted to find out what it felt like, whether I'd be able to pull it off and have the bottle (bravery) to function in that situation. I must have been pretty good, no pictures turned up in the press. Someone even complimented me on my shoes. I've still got four pairs of size-10 heels lying about my house. I forgot to give them back," he added.
