Tom Cruise not spending time with Suri?

Actor Tom Cruise hasn't been seen with his daughter Suri for 48 days.

Six-year-old Suri is settling in well to life in the Big Apple with her mom, Katie Holmes, while her dad makes movies, reports radaronline.com.

Cruise and Suri enjoyed a high profile vacation to Disney World Aug 2.

During the trip, Suri was the apple of Cruise's eyes as they stayed at every little girl's dream, the Cinderella Castle, and splashed around in the Typhoon Lagoon.

However, Cruise, 50, was nowhere to be seen on Suri's first day at school Sep 11. Instead, Holmes dropped her off at posh private school, the Avenues, in Chelsea, New York.

"Suri is used to her dad being away filming and not spending every single day with him. She loves the daddy-daughter time they get together," said a source.

"She always spent time with him either on set or at home and even on vacation so she's really adjusted well," added the source.

Cruise and Holmes finalised their divorce last month after five years of marriage.
