Harvest fest inaugurated

The harvest festival in the paddy field in Putharikandam Maidan was held on Saturday.
K Muraleedharan MLA, inaugurated the festival. The paddy cultivated on the maidan would be offered to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. The nivedyam using the rice would be offered to the deity on August 6.
Deputy Mayor G Happykumar presided over the function held as part of the festival.
