CPM district secretary Kadakampally Surendran has urged the government to withdraw its decision to divert the amount meant for four-laning of the Kazhakoottam-Sreekaryam road, for the monorail project in Kozhikode. In a statement here on Saturday, the CPM district secretary said that the move showed the government’s lackadaisical attitude towards the development of the capital.
The government’s negative attitude towards the development of the capital is evident from its neglect towards the national highway development and Attukal shopping complex project.
The UDF Govt has made no headway in the Vizhinjam Port project even after completing one-year term, Kadakampally Surendran said.
