Aptitude test on December 16

A Research Aptitude Test, for awarding fellowships offered by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), would be held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom here on December 16.
The written test will be followed by personal interviews at Sasthra Bhavan, Pattom on December 17 and 18.
Admit cards have been sent to all short-listed candidates for eligibility tests.Fellowships are available in Agricultural Sciences; Bioinformatics; Biotechnology; Chemical Sciences; Earth System Sciences; Engineering Sciences; Environmental Sciences; Mathematical Sciences; Physical Sciences and Taxonomy (Botany & Zoology). Successful candidates will earn a Ph D at the end of the three-year term that involves full-time research work. ENS
Selected candidates will be eligible for a monthly fellowship of Rs 16,000 in the first and second years and Rs 18,000 in the third year.
An annual contingency grant of Rs 20,000 and House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the Council for Science and Industrial Research (CSIR) norms would also be granted to the research fellows.
