Evening of poetry from Switzerland

Alliance Francaise in Trivandrum and Goethe Zentrum will together host Resonance - an evening of poetry from Switzerland and India being organised by the Embassy of Switzerland in India. Universal poetry, a non-profitable initiative lead by Delhi-based poet Sameer Kakkar, is also joining hands with the embassy to hold the event.
Martin Strub, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, Swiss Embassy, will be present. A poet of repute himself, he is expected to read two of his poems, one in German and the other in Italian. Sameer Kakkar, dancer and poet Madhura Phatak, Anupama Raju, T P Rajeevan and Rati Saxena are among the other poets who will take part.
The event will be held at the Alliance centre at Vazhuthacaud at 6pm on December 5. For details contact 0471-2320666, 6578808.
