‘Vyapaar 2012’ from Monday

‘Vyapaar 2012’, a trade expo on technology, electronics, textiles, tourism and infrastructure, will begin at Mascot Hotel in the city on Monday. Tourism Minister A P Anilkumar will inaugurate the five-day expo at 6 pm on that day.
More than 200 Indian and international companies, brands, manufacturers, dealers, suppliers, designers, service providers and government organisations will take part in the expo. The event is organised by One Roof Assignments. It aims at providing an opportunity for traders and brands to meet national and international authorised agents, dealers, partners and customers.
As part of the event, lectures and seminars on online marketing, investment opportunities in Kerala, innovation and entrepreneurship, business integrating technology and tourism will be held. In technology, there would be seminars on the topics, ‘Networking technology of the future’ and ‘Green with Pride’. A seminar on ‘Biomagnetism’ will be held under electronics. ‘Cultural/ heritage tourism’ and ‘Industrial tourism’ sessions will come under tourism. A highlight of the expo is ‘Franchising Day’, when representatives from around 50 companies will meet investors face-to-face to discuss new opportunities in investment.
For school and college students, quiz and painting contests will be conducted.
