Three held in chain snatching case

The Mangalapuram Police on Wednesday nabbed three persons wanted in connection with a chain-snatching case on November 3.
Police said one of the arrested, Rajesh, along with one Arun who was riding a bike, snatched the golden chain of one Divya, 26, who was returning from the Mangalapuram market. The bike was later found abandoned. The two other arrested Bibin, 24 and Sudheesh, 19, who are local residents, used to intimate the first accused Arun and Rajesh about the location suitable for committing the crime and to make good their escape. Search is on to book Arun, the police said. The arrested were produced before the court.
The investigation team led by Attingal DySP Prasanth included Mangalapuram SI Chandradas, ASI Prasannakumaran Pillai etc.
