It seems like Amala Paul has almost reached the peak of her acting career in the Tamil film industry. The actor who began her celluloid stint with newcomers and later did projects with mid-level actors has finally joined the A-list of actors in the industry. Now, she is all set to be paired opposite actor Vijay in director Vijay’s next untitled project.
This is her first Tamil film with a top-level actor as the leading lady, though she has shared screen space with Mohanlal in ‘Run Baby Run’ in Malayalam. It may be noted that though Amala Paul has played an important role in director Vijay’s previous flick ‘Deivathirumagal’, she wasn’t paired opposite Vikram.
The new Vijay-Vijay combo has officially been confirmed and the film will go on floors from November. Missionary Productions that has made films like ‘Oru Vasantha Geetham’ is producing the film, in which actor Sathyaraj is playing an important role as well.
Director Vijay has retained the core technical crew of his earlier films including cinematographer Nirav Shah, music director G V Prakash, editor Antony and lyricist Na Muthukumar for his next project too.
Now all eyes are on the Vijay-Vijay combo and what they are going to pull-off together. The other actors and technicians are being finalised.
