Two migrant labourers fall to death, one hurt

Two migrant labourers from West Bengal died on Thursday after they fell from an apartment building under construction at Karimanal.
Another labourer, who also fell from the same building, has been hospitalised with serious injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Mujibul Alam and Sanjay, while the injured has been identified as Jaipul, according to the police.
All the three are in their early twenties, the police said.
The police said that the incident occurred when one of the labourers fell from the scaffolding at the level of the fifth floor. The labourer fell on the other two workers positioned on the scaffolding at a lower level resulting in all the three falling on the ground, the police said. The incident occurred in the afternoon.
The police said that more details would be available only by Friday.
The bodies have been kept at the Medical College Hospital here for conducting post-mortem.
