The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will maintain a cordial relationship with the Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) to complete the KMRL project in a time-bound manner, DMRC’s principal advisor E Sreedharan said here on Thursday.
He was talking after holding a meeting with the DMRC officials at the Kochi office. Sreedharan instructed the DMRC officials to maintain better coordination and amicable relations with all the departments of the state government. With the State government entrusting the work of executing the Kochi Metro to the DMRC, he said that the project would be completed in three years time. “Utmost care should be taken in executing the work without causing inconvenience to the public.
A well planned initiative has to be taken in maintaining the safety of the road users, public as well as the workers at the work site,” Sreedharan added.
